In his meeting with Ambassador Inga Stanytė-Toločkienė, the President emphasized Lithuania’s strategic activities, support for Ukraine and European integration issues. Gitanas Nausėda underlined the importance of consistent and continued allied assistance to Ukraine, its European and NATO aspirations, ongoing reforms, and anti-corruption efforts.
Inga Stanytė-Toločkienė brings extensive diplomatic experience, having served as Director of the Eastern Neighborhood Policy Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and previously as Lithuanian Ambassador to Armenia. She also held the position of Policy Director at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the past two years.
In discussions with Ambassador Rolandas Kačinskas, the President focused on advancing Lithuania’s political and security interests in the Czech Republic, enhancing bilateral relations, and strengthening economic and cultural ties. The President stressed the importance of cooperation with the Czech Republic within the EU and NATO to achieve regional goals, support Ukraine and prevent Russia’s expansion in the world. He also highlighted joint efforts on historical memory issues.
Rolandas Kačinskas served as Chief Foreign Policy Adviser to the Speaker of the Seimas for the past two years and previously as Ambassador to Greece and Policy Director at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During his meeting with Ambassador Arnoldas Pranckevičius, the President discussed bilateral cooperation priorities between Lithuania and France. He emphasized the need for effective and visible representation of Lithuania’s interests across political, diplomatic, economic, defense, scientific, cultural, and sports sectors in France. The President highlighted the importance of consistent French support on key issues such as military and financial aid to Ukraine, sanctions against Russia and Belarus, EU enlargement and defense industry development, and resilience to hybrid and cyber threats.
Arnoldas Pranckevičius served as Lithuania’s Permanent Representative to the European Union for the past two years and previously held positions as Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs and Head of the European Commission Representation in Lithuania. He also has extensive experience in the European Parliament as an adviser to Presidents Jerzy Buzek and Martin Schulz.
