“Lithuania unequivocally condemns Hamas’ violent actions and attacks against civilians in Israel. We fully support Israel and extend our sincere condolences to the families of the victims. Israel has the right to defend itself. The Israeli people, both civilians and soldiers, who have been taken hostage have to be released immediately,” Gitanas Nausėda pointed out, and urged to stop this senseless violence.
The President also expresses his condolences to the family and loved ones of the Lithuanian expatriate reportedly killed in the war with Hamas.
