The President underlined that Lithuania will always stand as a strongly committed partner and friend of Moldova. He recalled with delight his visit to Moldova together with other European political leaders this past June, expressing gratitude for the warm welcome and substantive discussions on the future of Moldova and Europe as a whole.
“I highly value your country’s commitment to the European course. Moldova’s progress in implementing reforms is impressive, and I want to reassure you that its efforts are visible and recognized. Lithuania will continue to fully support your country on the path of European integration,” the President wrote in his message of congratulations.
Gitanas Nausėda wished Maia Sandu and the people of Moldova continued unity and consolidation.
