Speakers of the Baltic Parliaments sign a joint declaration in response to Wagner’s actions

On 28 June, the Speakers of the Parliaments of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia have issued a joint declaration in response to the recent events in Russia. The Declaration, among other things, calls on NATO to strengthen collective defence and deterrence and border security in NATO’s eastern flank and start a substantive process of inviting Ukraine to join NATO at the Summit in Vilnius, and calls for inclusion of the Wagner group in the European Union terrorist list.
