The President underlined that he highly values the historical bonds and long-standing close people-to-people contacts between Lithuania and Israel and is delighted about their expanding bilateral cooperation ties.
“Your country’s willingness to help Ukraine, ravaged by Russia’s military aggression, is extremely important and much needed. I firmly believe that Israel’s assistance will contribute to the victory of Ukraine, which is essential for preserving the international rules-based order,” the President wrote in his message of congratulations.
Gitanas Nausėda wished the State of Israel continued peace and strength as well as consolidation and well-being to its people.
