“We understand the danger to Israel and Lithuania posed by Iran’s involvement in Russia’s war against Ukraine, but only Ukraine’s victory can significantly strengthen the security of Europe and the Middle East. I hope Israel’s support for Ukraine will continue to grow,” the head of Lithuania’s diplomacy noted during the meeting with the Israeli Prime Minister.
Landsbergis in Tel Aviv also met with the Israeli Minister of Strategic Affairs Ron Dermer and discussed in detail the security situation in Europe, the Middle East and the efforts of the international community to strengthen the rules-based order.
