Japan is Lithuania’s most important partner in Asia; we welcome our strategic partnership and look forward to further strengthening our bilateral relations. Japan’s G7 presidency and its membership in the United Nations Security Council are key to ensuring international order and peace. We appreciate Japan’s strong stance towards Russia’s military aggression, its support for Ukraine and commitment to act together,” the President added.
