"I am sincerely pleased about the growing political and economic cooperation between Lithuania and Turkey, collaborative efforts to promote security and stability in Europe as well as about the strengthening of Turkey's relationship with the European Union. I firmly believe that many years of even closer relations are ahead of our both countries," the President wrote in her message of congratulations.
The Lithuanian head of state wished Turkey's President-elect much strength, continued health and wisdom in performing the very important and responsible duties of his position as he works for the well-being and good of the people of Turkey.
