In his message of congratulations, the President emphasized further development of bilateral relations between Lithuania and Slovenia, especially in the framework of NATO and the EU, and the support of both countries for Ukraine, which is fighting against the Russian military aggression.
Gitanas Nausėda underlined that he looked forward to the new Slovenian leader’s arrival at the NATO Summit in Vilnius next July, which is expected to deliver ambitious results.
