According to Vice Minister, the EU Permanent Structure Cooperation (PESCO) CRRT and Mutual Assistance in Cyber project has met its targets since 2018 and now is ready to become a standing capability.
The EU CRRT contributor conference in Vilnius also addressed preparation for the 5th rotation to be led by Croatia in 2023. The CRRTs are formed by experts delegated by all participants of the project: Estonia, Croatia, Lithuania, Poland, Netherlands, Romania.
This year the capability is led by Romania, while Belgium has opened up legal procedures to become a full-fledged member too. Slovenia is also expected to join this November and there are is coordination ongoing with two more EU member states, the Czech Republic and Denmark.
