“It is delightful to know that our two countries maintain friendly collaboration ties as they expand bilateral dialogue and work together at the international level. I see North Macedonia as a committed partner in NATO. It is with high regard that I view your country’s value-based stance on Russia’s military aggression against Ukraine and the substantial assistance you provide to Ukraine and its people,” the President wrote in his letter of congratulations.
Gitanas Nausėda underlined that Lithuania firmly supports North Macedonia’s aspirations for eurointegration and stands ready to share experience and best practices in delivering the necessary reforms.
The President of Lithuania wished President Stevo Pendarovski and the people of North Macedonia long years of peace and well-being.
