The President also conveyed condolences to President François Hollande for the many French nationals who were on board and perished.
"I was deeply shocked by the tragic news about the air flight disaster resulting in the loss of many lives. On behalf of the Lithuanian people and on my own behalf, I extend our deepest condolences to you and to your country," the President wrote in her message of condolences.
Dalia Grybauskaitė wished strength and fortitude to the people of Algeria and France as well as to those who lost their loved ones.
