The President will address the Verkhovna Rada as Ukraine celebrates the Day of Statehood for the first time. He will also meet Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and present him with the Order of Vytautas the Great with the Golden Chain.
This is the highest Lithuanian state decoration awarded to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy for his merits to defending freedom and democratic values in Europe together with the Ukrainian people.
On Thursday, the President of Lithuania is also expected to visit Irpin, which suffered heavily from Russia’s aggression.
