The Speaker of the Seimas used the opportunity to express her appreciation of the bilateral relations between the two countries and stressed that the Seimas was ready to further cooperate at both parliamentary and multilateral levels.
‘I believe that our Parliaments will cooperate even more actively and productively. In these challenging times, with the ongoing Russia’s war against Ukraine, we need to work harder to spread democracy and to be united in our strong response to the aggressor,’ Ms Čmilytė-Nielsen underlined.
