Noting that the President of Armenia was assuming office at an extremely difficult time for Europe and the whole world, when Ukraine was subjected to military aggression by Russia, the President of Lithuania wished his counterpart success and resolve in leading his country on the path of democracy and respect for human rights.
“At this moment, the unity of all European countries is crucial for safeguarding European values and ensuring the security and peace for our people,” the President wrote in his message of congratulations.
Gitanas Nausėda also expressed his confidence that closer cooperation between Armenia and the European Union would not only contribute to the well-being of the Armenian people but also to the development of bilateral dialogue.
