During the call, the President was delighted to take note of excellent bilateral relations and emphasized Lithuania’s interest in developing these relations with Israel, especially in the areas of economy and trade.
The two leaders discussed migration and border protection issues. The President thanked the Israeli leader for support to Lithuania in the face of the illegal migration crisis and for sharing expertise on border protection.
Gitanas Nausėda invited the President of Israel to visit Lithuania.
