The conversation with the B9 allies - Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Hungary was initiated by the US Secretary of State, and was devoted to the topic of the security situation in NATO's eastern flank and Ukraine.
During the conversation the head of Lithuanian diplomacy noted the importance of a unified response to the threats posed by Russia. The Foreign Minister emphasized the need to strengthen NATO's deterrence and defense measures in the Eastern flank of the Alliance, while taking into account the deepening military integration between Russia and Belarus. The Minister stressed the need to continue practical and political support for Ukraine.
