In his message of congratulations, the President wished all people of the Republic of Korea good health and every success as well as long years of peace and prosperity to their country.
“I am delighted that during the years we nurtured amicable bilateral relations and successfully cooperated in addressing topical matters on the international agenda. We are interested in expanding our political, economic, and cultural cooperation,” the President wrote highlighting the thirtieth anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Lithuania and the Republic of Korea.
In his message of congratulations, the President underscored that the Republic of Korea was a very important partner of the European Union that played an important role in ensuring peace and stability in the region. He also expressed his belief that the opening of Lithuania’s embassy in the Republic of Korea would unlock more possibilities for our people to develop mutually beneficial initiatives in the fields of economy, technologies, and innovations as well as promote the growth of business and tourism.
