In his message of congratulations, the President stressed that Lithuania and Canada enjoyed excellent bilateral relations and cooperation in international organizations while addressing topical matters of security, politics, and economy.
“As a close ally in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, Canada significantly contributes to ensuring security of the Baltic region. Canada is a very important pillar of indispensable transatlantic link, paramount for strong unity of Europe and North America,” the President wrote in his message of congratulations.
