“I wish you strong determination to move forward with reforms and to conclude negotiations on a new EU-Azerbaijan cooperation agreement. I also hope that this year we will have the opportunity to meet at the Eastern Partnership Summit and discuss the priorities and directions of the EU's Eastern Partnership policy,” the President wrote in his message of congratulations.
Gitanas Nausėda also underscored that close dialogue between Azerbaijan and the European Union was of paramount importance for the successful development of bilateral ties between Lithuania and Azerbaijan.
