According to the President, the United Kingdom and Lithuania are becoming increasingly close partners.
"Together we address security issues, encourage economic growth, seek common objectives in the European Union and NATO, and develop regional cooperation. I highly value and appreciate the contribution of the British servicemen to the enhancement of Lithuania's security. Working together we will make our countries more prosperous, more secure and better for all of our people," the President wrote in her message of congratulations.
The President sent her best wishes for the continued good health and strength of Queen Elizabeth II, for the well-being and prosperity of her country as well as for a wonderful day of celebration and a great start of summer to all Britons around the world.
