"It is with great pleasure that I recall our meeting this past spring when Lithuania and Sweden signed a maritime boundary agreement in Stockholm and our two nations became neighbors. I am very pleased that both countries are becoming increasingly close - we are bound by the common goals of advancing the welfare and security of our people and building a stronger European Union that meets our expectations as well as by collaborative work in the Baltic Sea region," the President wrote in her message of congratulations.
The President wished members of the Royal Family and the Swedish people continued happiness and many joyful moments of celebration as well as lasting prosperity and well-being for their country.
