Lithuania provided humanitarian aid in accordance with the decision of Lithuania’s Government of 22 April in response to the Eastern Neighborhood countries’ request for medical supplies to help fight the COVID-19 pandemic.
52.6 thousand protective face shields worth EUR 100,000 were acquired from UAB Baltic Digital Printing and UAB Mediena Era.
The Lithuanian Air Force agreed to carry Lithuania’s humanitarian aid to Armenia, Moldova, and Georgia on a scheduled flight to these countries. Personal protective equipment was sent to Ukraine by land transport.
