“The Ostrovets NPP is under construction in breach of international nuclear safety requirements and environmental conventions. Joint allied efforts will further be necessary for greater safety of Lithuania and Europe as a whole,” said L. Linkevičius.
The U.S. Acting Assistant Secretary of European and Eurasian Affairs thanked the Foreign Minister for Lithuania’s efforts to strengthen safety and security of the Euro-Atlantic region, and for our country’s contribution to the allied international missions and operations.
