NATO leaders are gathering in London on December 4 to mark 70 years of a unique bond between America and Europe that created the North Atlantic Treaty Organization – the world’s strongest alliance – establishing it as the fundamental bedrock and guarantee of peace in the Euroatlantic space.
In London, leaders will discuss the process of NATO’s further adaptation in the ever-changing security environment, the threats and challenges faced by transatlantic security, and the crucial importance of unity and solidarity in building a free democratic world. Special focus will be placed on defense spending and fair burden sharing in order to increase NATO’s ability to counter the emerging threats.
During his visit, the President is expected to attend a round-table with business representatives in the City of London. He will invite British companies working in finance and financial technologies, such as Credit Suisse, HSBC, Innovate Finance, JP Morgan, KPMG, Revolut, Moody's, UK Finance, and others, to start and develop their business in Lithuania.

The first lady will be engaged in a separate programme: she will visit Westminster Abbey, Tate Britain, and Sky Garden with unique panoramic views across London. She will also meet with children from the Lithuanian day nursery Obelėlė (Apple-Tree).
