From April 8 to 11, 2014 a meeting of Boao Forum for Asia was held in Boao, Hainan Province of China (PRC). Within four days, delegates from 150 countries discussed the current issues of the world economy and politics, issues of joint building of a new future with regions of Asia.
Documents of the VII Astana Economic Forum, the II World Anti-Crisis Conference, Draft Concept of the World Anti-Crisis Plan and international info-communication platform G-Global were among the official documents of the BFA. This indicates the high interest of international partners of Kazakhstan in the further development and promotion of these projects.
A number of meetings with representatives of the Chinese media, such as Boao Review, Economic Daily, China Economic Net were held as part of the presentation of Kazakhstan's initiatives, with which it was agreed to hold joint debates on platforms of the upcoming VII Astana Economic Forum.
In addition, following the results of negotiations programs of the upcoming events – the VII Astana Economic Forum, II World Anti-Crisis Conference, Draft Concept of the World Anti-Crisis Plan and international info-communication platform G-Global, which will be posted in the media of the Republic of China, were given to participants of the Boao Forum for Asia – 2014. During the Boao Forum high-ranked Chinese and international delegates were invited to the VII AEF and II WAC.
BFA is a non-governmental and non-profit international organization. The Forum was established in 2001; its work is aimed at promoting economic cooperation in Asian region.
