According to the President, Norway has become increasingly important for Lithuania as an allied nation and partner. The ongoing cooperation in the field of defense has strengthened Lithuania and Norway’s political dialogue.
In her message of congratulations, the President said that she firmly believed that the dialogue between Lithuania and Norway – built on common values and interests as well as good mutual understanding – would continue to expand and that the ties of friendship between the citizens would grow ever stronger across business, science, education, innovation, and culture.
The President wished the King, the Royal Family and all the people of Norway continued success, concord, and well-being.
