The President of the United States will begin his visit to Belgium at the European institutions. He will meet with the President of the European Commission, José Manuel Barroso, and European Council President Herman van Rompuy, and will participate in the EU-US Summit.
Barack Obama will then meet with Belgian Prime Minister Elio Di Rupo and the Secretary General of NATO, Anders Fogh Rasmussen.
Meanwhile, the head of the US Army will pay tribute, on Wednesday morning, to the victims of the First World War in Flanders Field American Cemetery in Waregem, in the presence of Belgium's roi Philippe.
In the afternoon, President Obama will deliver a speech at Bozar.
