President Dalia Grybauskaitė underlined that it was very important for the British political forces to reach a consensus and decide on the model of relationship with the European Union.
According to the President, as the official exit date of March 29 approaches, clarity is necessary for both: the European countries and the British people and businesses.
The President emphasized that the United Kingdom will always be an important economic and security partner of Europe. She pointed out that Lithuania understood the challenges faced by the United Kingdom and was ready to help find creative solutions to the situation.
