The President extended condolences to Greece over deadly wildfires

President Dalia Grybauskaitė extended heartfelt condolences to President Prokopios Pavlopoulos and the people of Greece over the tragedy caused by wildfires that spread near Athens claiming dozens of lives and injuring many others. The President offered the support of the Lithuanian people to Greece in this time of pain and hardship. She wished fortitude to the victims’ families, loved ones and everyone who had suffered from the forest fires, speedy recovery to the injured, as well as consolidation in conducting rescue operations and overcoming the consequences of this disaster as soon as possible.
