Linkevičius congratulates the new Polish Foreign Minister

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Linas Linkevičius congratulated Jacek Czaputowicz on his appointment as the new Polish Minister of Foreign Affairs on 9 January. According to Linkevičius, Lithuania and Poland are enjoying a strong long-term partnership and successful strategic relations within the EU and NATO formats. The Foreign Minister believes that Lithuania would continue to constructively cooperate with Poland to solve many bilateral and regional issues also in the future. In addition, Linkevičius invited the new head of Poland’s diplomacy to visit Lithuania.
