The President underlined that Switzerland was a committed partner of Lithuania in developing bilateral political, economic, business, scientific, and cultural contacts and promoting a close dialogue between the European Union and Switzerland.
In her message of congratulations, the President expressed hope that cooperation ties between the two countries would be further strengthened through new meaningful initiatives aimed at creating fresh opportunities for all Europeans as well as ensuring economic growth and security in the neighborhood and across the region.
Dalia Grybauskaitė wished the President of Switzerland continued success and strength in his work for the good and benefit of the Swiss people.
