President Dalia Grybauskaitė offered condolences to President Rodrigo Duterte of the Philippines over the disastrous storm that took many lives, bringing devastation to towns and villages. The President expressed the heartfelt support of the Lithuanian people and wished strength to the victims’ families, loved ones and all those who have suffered from the deadly storm. She also wished fortitude in continuing rescue operations, searching for missing persons and overcoming as soon as possible the painful consequences of this disaster.
