Linkevičius and Shoukry also exchanged views on the most important processes in the region. Linkevičius once again offered his condolences over the terror attack on 25 November in the Sinai Peninsula that had claimed over 300 lives and suggested strengthening cooperation in the fight against terrorism.
This is already the second meeting of the two Foreign Ministers this year. The Egyptian Foreign Minister Shoukry met with Linkevičius for the first time on 22 August, during his historic visit to Lithuania.
