“The bilateral relationship between Lithuania and Azerbaijan is strengthening and we are ready to further deepen and expand our mutually beneficial cooperation,” said Lithuania’s Foreign Minister. Linkevičius thanked the Ambassador of Azerbaijan for his tireless efforts to strengthen the bilateral political, economic, and cultural ties between our two countries, and to acquaint Lithuania’s society with Azerbaijan, its culture and history.
Linkevičius expressed hope that the EU-Azerbaijan cooperation would be further boosted. The Eastern Partnership is an important initiative for building stronger partnerships. On 27 November, Lithuania and Azerbaijan will celebrate the 22nd anniversary of their diplomatic relations.
