President Dalia Grybauskaitė extended condolences to President Fuad Masum of the Republic of Iraq and President Hassan Rouhani of the Islamic Republic of Iran over the earthquake that resulted in many human lives, injuries and extensive devastation to local villages of both countries. In this time of sorrow and hardship, the President wished strength to the victims’ families and loved ones as well as consolidation to Iraq and Iran in conducting rescue operations and overcoming the painful consequences of this disaster as soon as possible.
