The President underlined that Turkey was an important partner and ally of Lithuania – two nations that closely cooperate at the bilateral level and address common continental challenges and defense issues within NATO.
“We highly value that mutually beneficial economic and political dialogue is expanding and that our citizens successfully work together in the fields of business, tourism, education, and innovation,” the President wrote in her message of congratulations. She expressed strong hope that friendly relations between the two countries and their people would further promote cooperation between Lithuania, Turkey and our region, advancing unity, security, welfare, and new opportunities.
The President wished Turkey and its people continued success, prosperity and unity.
