The President wished strength and fortitude to the families and friends of the victims as well as national consolidation in continuing search and rescue operations and overcoming the consequences of the terrible disaster.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Linas Linkevičius expressed his condolences over the earthquake disaster of 19 September in Mexico.
“We express our sincere condolences to all the families of the victims. Our prayers go out to everyone affected by this earthquake,” said Minister Linkevičius following the tragic event.
