In the bilateral meeting with the head of the Palestinian diplomacy, Linkevičius discussed bilateral cooperation, developments in the Middle East peace process, as well as dialogue between the Palestinian Authority and Hamas that had governed the Gaza Strip.
Linkevičius welcomed the cultural, educational and economic ties between Lithuania and Palestine, and invited the Palestinian Foreign Minister to visit Lithuania in the nearest future.
