In his letter of congratulations, Lithuania’s Foreign Minister wrote that 2017 was the year of cooperation breakthrough between Ukraine and the European Union, and expressed his conviction that the entry into force of the visa liberalisation agreement between the European Union and Ukraine on 11 June would bring the Lithuanian and the Ukrainian people even closer together. According to Lithuania’s Foreign Minister, the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement, which will enter into force on 1 September, will mark a new stage in our relationship and in Ukraine’s European integration process.
According to Lithuania’s Foreign Minister, in recent years, Ukraine’s aim of freedom has faced multiple challenges. However, Lithuania has always been and will remain Ukraine’s most reliable comrade and partner.
