According to the President, the Republic of Korea is valued as a close and important partner of Lithuania and Europe sharing common values and confidently enhancing political and economic dialogue. In her message of congratulations, the President wished that intensifying cooperation in all areas helped safeguarding Lithuanian and Korean citizens‘ interests as well as their prosperity and security.
The President expressed certitude that Lithuania and Korea would remain like-minded countries taking an equal approach to the modern-day challenges and multiple threats as well as supporting each other. This would reaffirm the determination of both countries to continue fostering friendly relations, jointly open up even more opportunities for citizens to discover their respective countries, and implement beneficial projects in the fields of trade, science, security, innovations and education.
Dalia Grybauskaitė sent her best wishes for every success, prosperity and unity of the Republic of Korea and its people.
