The French Foreign Minister is coming to Vilnius to attend the 50th anniversary session of the Conference of Community and European Affairs Committees of Parliaments of the European Union (COSAC) at the Seimas (Parliament) of Lithuania. L.Fabius is the founder of this forum and is invited as an honorary guest.
During the meeting, L.Linkevičiaus and L.Fabius will discuss Lithuania's Presidency of the EU Council, important issues on the EU agenda, the Eastern Partnership Summit to be held in Vilnius in November, and bilateral cooperation.
During his visit to Vilnius, the French Foreign Minister will also meet with the President of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaitė and the Speaker of the Seimas Loreta Graužinienė.
On 29 October, L.Linkevičius will hold a meeting with Spain's Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation José Manuel García-Margallo, who will be making a bilateral visit. The meeting will focus on the Lithuanian Presidency of the EU Council, preparations for the Eastern Partnership Summit, and key aspects of bilateral cooperation.
In Vilnius, the head of the Spanish diplomacy will meet with the President of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaitė and the Minister of Energy Jaroslavas Neverovičius.
