Tajani met Milan Brglez, speaker of the national assembly, as well as Prime Minister Miro Cerar to discuss current challenges. The Parliament President said: "Slovenia is crucial for stability in the region. It is a success story with two to three percent growth and crucial for the future of Europe. The sixtieth anniversary of the Treaty of Rome should not just be a ceremony, but also an occasion to bring the EU closer to its citizens through concrete responses to their concerns."
In a meeting with President Borut Pahor, the two leaders shared perspectives on developments in the region, including the Western Balkans. Tajani concluded his visit with a discussion with students at the University of Ljubljana.
