According to the President, Lithuania highly values Switzerland as an important and committed partner in developing bilateral political and economic dialogue as well as in addressing common continental challenges within the framework of relations with the European Union.
In her message of congratulations, the President expressed strong hope that comprehensive cooperation between Lithuania and Switzerland aimed at boosting economic growth and protecting the interests, welfare and security of our citizens and of all Europeans remained active.
Dalia Grybauskaitė wished the President of the Swiss Confederation every success and strength in working for the good of the people of her country.
