The President extended condolences over the terror attack in Berlin

President Dalia Grybauskaitė extended her heartfelt condolences on behalf of the Lithuanian people and on her own behalf to President Joachim Gauck of Germany over the brutal attack against the innocent people in Berlin. According to the President, there is no justification for such an act of violence that has overshadowed Christmas festivities for all people of Germany. Dalia Grybauskaitė underscored that Lithuania strongly denounced this terror attack and expressed solidarity with the German nation. The President wished strength and fortitude to the victims’ families and loved ones, as well as unity and consolidation to the people of Berlin and Germany.
