It is vital to continue this dialogue with a view to concretely address the difficult situation in Venezuela. The Special Envoy of Pope Francis and the UNASUR facilitators have spared no effort to gather both sides around one table, in search of a lasting and peaceful solution to which both the Government and the opposition can subscribe.
This important momentum should be nurtured with the continuation of positive gestures and a constructive approach from all sides to give the dialogue a real chance in the interest of all Venezuelans.
The European Union stands ready to continue its support for dialogue and to help promote concrete solutions for the pressing problems faced by the Venezuelan people.
