This year marks the 25th anniversary of the reestablishment of diplomatic ties between Lithuania and Switzerland. The President emphasized that Switzerland was a close and committed partner at both the bilateral level and in the context of relations with the European Union.
According to the President, our common approach to key continental agenda issues as well as determination to boost the economy, strengthen the security and welfare of our citizens will continue to be the driving force behind successful cooperation between Lithuania and Switzerland.
Dalia Grybauskaitė wished the President of Switzerland and the Swiss people continued success, happiness and prosperity.
