This year marks the twenty fifth anniversary of the reestablishment of diplomatic relations between our two countries and we remember an impressive history of support, cooperation and friendship between our two nations. We are delighted to have such a special partner,” the President wrote in her message of congratulations.
According to Dalia Grybauskaitė, the United States has repeatedly proved its determination to be a staunch ally of the whole European continent. The President emphasized that we highly valued U.S. focus on the common European agenda and its principled approach to key security and defense matters.
In her message of congratulations, Dalia Grybauskaitė thanked the President of the United States for his moral stand and personal efforts to strengthen the unity between the United States and European countries as well as for his aim to pool the capabilities of the entire transatlantic community and his commitment in fostering stability and peace, the security of people and common values in other regions of the world.
