“A dramatic dialogue takes place with Ukraine. Two areas in Ukraine are monitored with special carefulness, and those sections are: the right to vote and the prosecution, and, as I know, Ukraine has not carried out reforms in those areas, hence, the only one conclusion for today is that Ukraine is not ready yet” told Sikorski to the reporters on this Monday.
The Foreign Minister also noted that, currently, it depends only on Ukraine whether Brussels will be able to sign an association agreement with Kiev or not.
When asked whether such situation could put at risk the signing of the Association Agreement between the EU and Ukraine during the November summit of the Eastern Partnership in Vilnius, he replied: "it obviously can. If Ukraine does not do what it has to do, the agreement will not be signed,” said Sikorski.
