The European air traffic service Eurocontrol said "there were no weather issues" when MS804 went missing, at an altitude of 37,000 feet, more than 11 thousands metres.
There were 56 passengers on the board of the EgyptAir plane - one child and two infants among them and 10-person crew, EgyptAir said. Among 66 persons there were 30 Egyptians, 15 French citizens, 2 Iraqis, one person from Belgium, Canada, Kuwait, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Algeria, Sudan, Britain and Chad.
